Abstract
The recursion method of Haydock, Heine and Kelly (see ibid., vol.5, p.2845 (1972) and ibid., vol.8, p.259 (1975)) is applied to the study of the excitations in a two-dimensional diluted ferromagnet with an anisotropic exchange interaction. Spectra at various points in the Brillouin zone are presented over the whole range of concentrations of the magnetic ions. The multi-peaked band (near the percolation concentration) and the dangling bond responses are discussed by analysing the wave functions. Keywords
