Abstract
The present study is a follow up to a previous article on unplanned pregnancies and contraceptive practices among Stanford University students. Students with positive pregnancy tests were asked to fill out a questionnaire with regard to contraceptive utilization. Comparison was made to a control population. Use of the diaphragm continues to rise and is paralleled by an increase in unplanned pregnancies. New approaches are needed to combat the ultimate reliance upon abortion as a birth control method. Keywords
