Multiple Aneurysm Formation as a Complication of Interventive Angiography

Abstract
A case is described in which transcatheter embolization was used to treat a large arteriovenous malformation of the scalp (cirsoid aneurysm), with subsequent development of multiple aneurysms at the embolization sites. This previously unreported complication may have far reaching implications in treatment modality selection.
