Abstract
Three developmentally disabled adults were taught 3 peer interactive responses (verbalization, recreation and cooperation) by 3 training procedures: modeling, instructions and feedback, and modeling, instructions and feedback. All 3 training procedures increased all 3 responses, but the most effective procedure was modeling, instructions and feedback. In the 2 modeling conditions, videotapes of nonretarded adults were used, demonstrating the feasibility of this method for teaching retarded persons.
