Abstract
Phenolic reagents which uncouple oxidative phosphorylation are bound to the protein moiety of mitochondria. This interaction may induce configurational changes in the enzymes of oxidative phosphorylation, and these changes could be responsible for the uncoupling phenomenonKeywords
