Abstract
Various methods have been investigated in an attempt to render quantitative amino-acid analysis by partition chromatography on paper. A polaro-graphic modification of Kober'' s method for the estimation of amino-acids as their copper complexes is described. A few ug. only are required. Estimations of several amino-acids in a number of simple mixtures are presented. An analysis of gramicidin S using 1 mg. only, confirms the formula proposed by Synge. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
