Abstract
An electronic technique is described for identifying nonrelativistic charged particles. The ionization and energy of the particle are measured in a two‐crystal telescope, and the product E(dE/dx) is obtained electronically. Since E(dE/dx)∼M0.8Z2 particles of different mass and/or charge can be separated. Keywords
