Abstract
This review, covering the period Dec. 1945 to Dec. 1946, discusses such fundamental advances as the proof of structure of folic acid and its use in pernicious anemia, demonstration of an essential animal protein factor, and insight into the relations between tryptophane and nicotinic acid. After the usual list of individuals indicated by the title there is mention of streptogenin and other potential new factors. Keywords
