Abstract
Electronic circuits are described which, over a wide range of frequency and wave form, generate output voltages accurately proportional at every instant to the time derivative of their input potentials. Three basic circuits are described which provide successively increasing accuracy of differentiation with attendant increases in complexity of construction and delicacy of adjustment. Criteria are provided for choosing between the circuits for particular applications. Keywords
