Über das Vorkommen und das Schicksal der Phosphoglycerinsäure im Herzmuskel.

Abstract
Cardiac muscle like skeletal muscle in the presence of NaF transformed added hexose-di-phosphate into laevo-rotary glycerine-phosphoric acid. The transformation of carbohydrate to lactic acid in cardiac muscle is mediated by phosphoryl derivatives, but the process is slower than in skeletal muscle. Suspensions of hashed muscle of rabbit, calf, and dog were used.
