Abstract
(±)-Prostaglandin D1 has been synthesised by oxidation of (±)-PGF1α 15-t-butyldimethylsilyl ether and also of its 9-triethylsilyl ether; preparation and selective hydrolysis of triethylsilyl ethers are key steps in the sequence.Keywords
