Abstract
A new transplantable tumor, the LSA ascites lymphoma of the C57BL/Ka mouse, was used in radiobiological experiments. A progressive increase in the transplantability of the tumor was observed with serial passage. The sensitivity of the cells to X rays was studied in early and late passage. The increased radioresistance of late passage cells can be accounted for on the basis of hypoxia after an increase in ascites volume. Keywords
