Abstract
Graft copolymerization reactions of vinyl monomers with fibrous cotton cellulose that were initiated at free-radical sites formed on the cellulose molecule are discussed. The effects of experimental conditions on the methods of initiating these free-radical reactions and on the location of these sites on the cellulose molecule are outlined. Some of the properties of the fibrous cellulose graft copolymers are discussed. Keywords
