Abstract
The study of socialization has lacked a consistent methodology that would permit comparisons among studies. More general and widely applicable measures are needed if the process of socialization is to be fully and appropriately investigated. This paper presents a set of related measures indexing various aspects of cognitive change as part of the socialization process. Keywords
