Determination of cadmium in human milk during lactation

Abstract
During lactation, Cd-levels in human milk were determined by means of flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The levels in colostrum were some 50–65% higher than in transitional and mature milk. In Frauenmilch wurde während der Laktationszeit mittels flammenloser AAS der Cd-Gehalt nach dem Additionsverfahren bestimmt. Im Kolostrum lag der Cd-Gehalt um ca. 50–65% höher als in der transitorischen und reifen Milch.Keywords
