Abstract
Mice from 3 strains (ICR, C57B1/6J, and Bagg-Swiss) were exposed to neutrons at 6, 8, 12, or 16 weeks of age. Strain, as well as age, Influenced the radiation response as measured by median lethal dose and survival time. ICR strain mice were irradiated under similar conditions at dose rates of 1, 10, 50, 100, or 200 rads/min or a pulse of radiation. There was no demonstrable effect of exposure intensity on median lethal dose or survival time. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
