Formation of Negative Ions in Magnetic Fields

Abstract
It is argued that the negative helium ion exists in magnetic fields. Similarly, nontrapping isoelectronic impurities in semiconductors trap with magnetic fields. Crude estimates of binding energies are given.Keywords
