Abstract
This paper reports on the performance of a system for recovery from inaccuracies in the specification of program statements. The tolerance to inaccuracy is a natural by-product of the method of adaptive analysis, which is described in detail elsewhere (James and Partridge, 1973). Probable inaccuracies are detected and accurate reconstructions are explored as an integral part of the process of analysis. Specific examples of inaccuracy are selected from practical program samples and the operation of the analyser is assessed with respect to them. Keywords
