Abstract

Response of blood eosinophiles and urme uric acid/creatinine ratio (U/C) to 0.3-0.5 mg. epinephrine were studied in 23 normal subjects and 6 patients with adrenocortical insufficiency. The effects of epinephrine on the eosinophile count and U/C ratio are too variable to serve as a useful clinical test of adrenal cortical function.
