Abstract
Good DCEL has been observed in thin films of ZnS:Cu:Nd:Cl prepared by co-evaporation in vacuum. The efficient luminescence centres were found to be trivalent neodymium ions which, by a crystal-field analysis, were shown to be located at zinc substitutional sites. Keywords
