Millimetre-wave generator working at half the cyclotron resonance frequency

Abstract

Several millimetre-wave generators working at the cyclotron resonance frequency have been described in the literature. The device described here works with a magnetic field equivalent to only half the resonance value and has given power outputs in excess of 2 W at about 9.0 mm wavelength.
