Abstract
It was shown by the use of meso-inosite-C14 that this is not a precursor for (a) the formation of catechin in the leaves, (b) the biosynthesis if cyanidin in red cabbage plants, and (c) the formation of gallic and protocatechuic acids in Phycomyces blakesleeanus. Meso-inosite-C14 is changed into tetra-hydroxybenzoquinone-C14 by Pseudomonas beijerinckii Hof.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
