Abstract
The paper discusses the estimation of directional wave spectra by the Iterative Maximum Likelihood Method. The performance of the estimate is illustrated using data obtained by an Acoustic Doppler Current Meter in the CUrrent Measurement EXperiment (CUMEX) in the Norwegian Sea.
