Abstract
A strain of Acinetobacter that possesses a novel aminoglycoside-modifying enzyme of restricted substrate range is described. The enzyme appears to catalyze the N-acetylation of only those aminoglycosides of the kanamycin-gentamicin group which bear a 2''-hydroxyl group. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
