Abstract
It is shown that the surface tension of the dilute Ising model at T=0 is proportional to the area a(p) of the cross section of the infinite percolation cluster at its narrowest point. Some arguments are also given to establish the expression mu p=(d-1) nu p between the percolation critical exponents mu p, related to a(p), and nu p, related to the connectedness length. Keywords
