Abstract
Nicht die erwarteten β‐Hydroxycarbonsäure‐ester, sondern die β‐Lactone 1 werden erhalten, wenn 2‐Brom‐2‐methylpropansäureethylester und Ketone unter Verwendung einer Indium‐Opferanode elektrolysiert werden.
