Abstract
An interferometric fiber optic sensor employing a light emitting diode (LED) as the optical source and two fiber Fabry-Perot interferometers (FFPI) which were fabricated in continuous length of a single-mode silica fiber is analyzed. The performance as a temperature sensor is demonstrated and the predicted behavior is confirmed.Keywords
