Abstract
A corynebacterium was isolated from spontaneous lesions of pantothenate deficient rats. It is not pathogenic when inoculated into rats on a fully supplemented diet in doses which produce progressive disease in deficient animals. This phenomenon generally develops before overt physical deterioration. Keywords
