Abstract
Tissues obtained from adult cats were destroyed, when cultured, by a slow-growing syncytia-forming virus which was transmitted to cultured cells of several species, including human. Ninety percent of the cats obtained were infected. The agent is myxovirus-like, but does not induce interferon production. Keywords
