Abstract
The reaction conditions to form pentafluorobenzyl derivatives of 10 herbicidal acids, at pesticide residue levels, were studied. The optimum conditions were reaction at room temperature for at least 5 hr (or overnight), using potassium carbonate solution as catalyst. The gas chromatographic characteristics of these derivatives were also studied. Nine of 10 of these derivatives can be separated on an OV-101/OV-210 gas chromatographic column. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
