Abstract
Coprosma talbrockiei Moore et Mason sp. nov. from north-west Nelson, New Zealand, is placed in the same Section as the Tasmanian C. moorei Rodway. In several respects these two species resemble C. atropurpurea (Ckn. et Allan) L. B. Moore stat. nov. which is shown to be specifically distinct from C. petriei Cheesem. A dichotomous key includes also the fourth New Zealand creeping species, C. pumila Hook.f., and C. nivalis Oliver from Australia. Keywords
