Abstract
Women with HIV disease face not only the same barriers to safe sexual and drug use behaviors that placed them at risk for infection but also problems unique to their serostatus. The high incidence of sexually transmitted disease among some subgroups of women with HIV infection, particularly among those who engage in illicit drug use, demands that the scope of their HIV care encompass identification and treatment of both drug addiction and sexually transmitted disease. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
