Serious pertussis overlooked in infants

Abstract
Two infants with life-threatening pertussis are presented in whom the diagnosis was delayed. A review of pertinent literature suggests that the diagnosis of pertussis in infants is frequently missed and therefore the morbidity and mortality from this disease is underestimated.Keywords
