Abstract
A novel technique for cancelling polarisation sensitivity in waveguide grating routers on InP is reported. The scheme gives the designer a lot of freedom to choose a particular waveguide structure and does not limit the free spectral range of the router. No performance penalty arises from this polarisation compensation scheme. Keywords
