Abstract
An Adansonian analysis of the features of 62 yellow pigmented marine bacteria (all but one of which were identified as Flavobacterium species by the workers who isolated them) revealed that 34 fell into one of two large pleista or groups; the rest fell into smaller pleista or were the sole representative of their pleiston present The possibility that these pleista approximate various established genera is discussed. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
