Abstract
Humidity dependence of the surface resistivity and the dielectric properties of adsorbed-water layers on the surfaces of LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 single crystals were examined. Experiments were carried out for the specimens with various cuts of the crystals to investigate the mechanism and the origin of the logarithmic dependence of the surface resistance on humidity. Keywords
