Abstract

The new, neutral mixed-metal cluster (η-C₅H₅)₃Ni₃Os₃(CO)₉ has been obtained in good yield from a simple pyrolytic reaction; the metal-atom arrangement has been shown by X-ray crystallography to be a face-capped trigonal bipyramid.
