Abstract
The proton magnetic resonance lines during the transition of the supercooled variety of 2,3‐dimethylbutane to the normal state have been investigated. An increase in rotational characteristics is followed by an exponential decrease in peak height of the resonance line. This is interpreted in terms of a transition around Frenkel holes. An observed asymmetry in the line shape is treated mathematically on this basis. Keywords
