Abstract

This paper is a summary of the biology and control of the flies and springtails which injure cultivated mushrooms. Mites, which also cause considerable damage to mushrooms, are not discussed here, but an extended account of these and of the above pests will be found in the new Bulletin 270 of the Pennsylvania Agricultural Experiment Station.
