Abstract
The effect of ketamine on the uptake of 3H-noradrenaline in the isolated perfused rat heart was studied. A dose-dependent inhibition of uptake by both neuronal and extraneuronal processes was found. These effects may account for the positive chronotropic and pressor effects of the drug. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
