Abstract
Children continue to sustain life-threatening injury that can be treated successfully. Management of the airway and breathing are the crucial steps which assure adequate ventilation of the child. If properly prepared, those individuals responsible for the emergency treatment of children should be able to save a high percentage of children who suffer injuries to the airway and thorax. Keywords
