Abstract
The distribution of 1-80 MMGMinjd. intraperit. after 6, 24 and 48 hrs. was studied using K42 as atracer. The distribution of equilibrium is according to the location of the body K for the tissues analysed. The distributions of 1.0 and 0.01 mg. of K42 Cl admd. intraperit. or intraven. 5 min. previously are given and the differences discussed. Evidence is presented that there is a rapid exchange between the extra- and intracellular K of the liver, gut, kidney, heart and lung, but it is slow for the gastrocnemius muscle. Keywords
