Modeling biological systems by means of flowgraphs

Abstract

This brief article is intended to expose the biologi cal modeler to a powerful technique for writing models and for the notation, dimensional analysis, simulation, and solution of biological models. The technique is based on the well-known engineering tecnhique of flowgraph analysis and uses flowgraph notation.
