Abstract
For an elastic body containing periodically distributed voids, several effective techniques are presented which can be used to obtain the effective elastic moduli with any desired degree of accuracy. The results include the effects of void geometry as well as void interactions. For a body containing spherical voids, numerical results are presented and compared with those obtained by other methods. Keywords
