Abstract
Glass capillary columns for gas chromatography have been adopted for a wide variety of separations because they are capable of having a great number of theoretical plates and are inexpensive. One of the main problems encountered in using glass capillary columns is the inability of the stationary phase to remain as a uniform layer on the inside glass surface, especially with polar phases. By using a polymer which has an improved ability to wet glass as a support for the stationary phase, more efficient and stable columns have been prepared. Keywords
