Abstract
Literature excess-volume (VE) data for n-alkane mixtures have been found to obey an extended corresponding-states principle for chain molecules which is then used to predict VE as a function of composition and temperature for a wide variety of n-alkane systems. Results are excellent and superior to those obtained with other treatments.Keywords
