Computed Tomography of the Pulmonary Hila

Abstract
A detailed analysis of normal cross-sectional hilar anatomy is presented. Specially prepared human cadavers injected with red and blue latex were used for correlation with 100 normal computed tomographic examinations. Thorough knowledge of the normal appearance of cross-sectional hilar anatomy is a prerequisite for recognizing abnormalities that affect the pulmonary hila.
