Anthelmintic chemotherapy: the individual and the community

Abstract
Chemotherapy is gaining increasing acceptance as an approach to control helminths in the community. This reflects the development of simple and potentially cost-effective strategies for targeted drug delivery, and recognition that some of the most prevalent infections have consequences that extend beyond the traditionally recognized clinical effects to include more subtle but highly prevalent constraints on human development.
