Abstract
A case [human] of mechanical failure of a medium-straight Heifetz aneurysm clip that resulted in the blades being widely open 10 mo. postoperatively was reported. The need for postoperative angiography after intracranial aneurysm surgery was reemphasized. Plain skull film examination was also recommended should signs and symptoms suggest an intracranial event in the postoperative course. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
