Abstract
A theoretical explanation is given for the “unexpected” behavior recently observed in the radiation spectrum of ultrarelativistic electrons in a thin layer of matter in an experimental investigation of the Landau-Pomeranchuk-Migdal effect at SLAC [S. R. Klein et al., Preprint SLAC-6378, Stanford (1993); P. L. Anthony et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 75, 1949 (1995)].Keywords
